Chon-Ji means literally “the Heaven the Earth.” It is in the orient interpreted as the creation of the world or the beginning of human history; therefore, it is the initial pattern played by the beginner. This pattern consists of two similar parts; one to represent the heaven and the other the Earth.
Parallel Ready Position
Left foot returns.
Turn the left foot 90 degrees to the left and left low block in a left front
stance.
Step forward into a right front stance and right punch.
Turn the right foot 180 degrees to the right and right low block in a right front
stance.
Step forward into a left front stance and left punch.
Turn the left foot 90 degrees to the left and left low block in a left front
stance.
Step forward into a right front stance and right punch.
Turn the right foot 180 degrees to the right and right low block in a right front
stance.
Step forward into a left front stance and left punch.
Turn the left foot 90 degrees to the left and left inner forearm block in a left
back stance.
Step forward into a right front stance and right punch.
Turn right foot 180 degrees to the right and right inner forearm block in a right
back stance.
Step forward into a left front stance and left punch.
Turn left foot 90 degrees to the left and left inner forearm block in a left back
stance.
Step forward into a right front stance and right punch.
Turn right foot 180 degrees to the right and right inner forearm block in a right
back stance.
