White Belt

Chon-Ji means literally “the Heaven the Earth.” It is in the orient interpreted as the creation of the world or the beginning of human history; therefore, it is the initial pattern played by the beginner. This pattern consists of two similar parts; one to represent the heaven and the other the Earth.

Parallel Ready Position

  1. Turn the left foot 90 degrees to the left and left low block in a left front
                stance.
  2. Step forward into a right front stance and right punch.
  3. Turn the right foot 180 degrees to the right and right low block in a right front
                stance.
  4. Step forward into a left front stance and left punch.
  5. Turn the left foot 90 degrees to the left and left low block in a left front
                stance.
  6. Step forward into a right front stance and right punch.
  7. Turn the right foot 180 degrees to the right and right low block in a right front
                stance.
  8. Step forward into a left front stance and left punch.
  9. Turn the left foot 90 degrees to the left and left inner forearm block in a left
                back stance.
  10. Step forward into a right front stance and right punch.
  11. Turn right foot 180 degrees to the right and right inner forearm block in a right
                back stance.
  12. Step forward into a left front stance and left punch.
  13. Turn left foot 90 degrees to the left and left inner forearm block in a left back
                stance.
  14. Step forward into a right front stance and right punch.
  15. Turn right foot 180 degrees to the right and right inner forearm block in a right
                back stance.
  16. Step forward into a left front stance and left punch.
  17. Step forward into a right front stance and right punch. KI-HAP
  18. Step back into a left front stance and left punch.
  19. Step back into a right front stance and right punch.
Left foot returns.
